Toon Speak!

Boy! what fun he must be having?! I mean the cartoonist who drew Prophet Mohammad's caricature. He nonchalantly drew one unimpressive cartoon of the Prophet with a bomb in his turban and there goes the moronic Islamic world looting and killing themselves! How many lives have been lost as of now? 50?! And what for? More than the cartoon or the Koran down the drain in Iraqi prisons, the Prophet might feel more insulted by this mindless, uneducated and totally stupid reaction from the Islamic world. Agreed that the Cartoons displayed a total lack of respect for Islamic sensitivities. Indeed it was more an act of racist intent than freedom of expression as the European spin masters are trying to put it now. The Danish paper didn't inadvertently publish the cartoons, it requested such cartoons so as to break the taboo of publishing the Prophet's images. Don't they have anything else to do? If the Danish Economy is now paying for this, then so be it. But why are Muslims killing themselves for this? As if this whole story was not disgusting enough, we had a minister in UP announcing cash reward for the cartoonist's head. Hello...Is this India? (BTW why hasn't our Sardar government come up with anything funny on this yet?!)

How much money did Arcelor pay Kamalnath to sabotage the Mittal bid?! Afterall what better way to scare away European Investors than to create Indian connections (read jobloses) to Mittal Steel when none exist. Hope CNN-IBN finds this out using a sting operation! On the whole Indian Industry Associations and Kamalnath have shown how immature, India still is in the world Market place. And finally, my blog turns a year old on Wednesday. Happy Birthday to you...la..lala..la...

Just an afterthought: I think in this age when there's hardly any barrier to free flow of communication, we need to be very discrete when expressing opinions especially in a medium that is in the public domain. As the age-old saying goes: "Your freedom ends where my freedom begins." We all need to be aware of this.

No no, I was wondering whether the fourth comment was about this blog entry or about the Danish paper.
