16 vayathinile? wtf!
btw most famous movies in tamil wud have been kalidaas or haridas. but that prob. wudnt count as there mite have been no other movies during the time.

watever it is, im sure ur product director is not going to make it past the first few,by the time the 1045 unwanted songs are over.

Have you seen all of those? I'd add Mr and Mrs. Iyer to the list.

Arun,

>> so many hindi movies???

well, he asked me for 'Bollywood' movies. I first had to disabuse him of the notion that Bollywood means India. Although I don't think I have chosen any undeserving Hindi movie, its a list for my company business! I can't impose my whims and fancies on that!

Shradha,

No, I haven't seen all of them especially the old ones. Mr and Mrs. Iyer just missed out. I feel its an amateurish movie with cliches. Besides the western audience may miss the whole point of the movie (the difficulties in man/woman relationship in India) and can barely appreciate the awesome performance of Konkana Sen as a South Indian girl.

Then you probably didnot watch or hear about "Maachis". Surprising that "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" is in your 25 must watch list.

Ofcourse I have seen Maachis. I do like it. Its also true that I didn't remember movies like Maachis, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro etc when I wrote this list.

Lage Raho is a contemporary comedy. Guess that should be part of a suggested list for Western audience. In anycase, a person who says Vidya Balan's movie shud not be included is committing blasphemy in this part of the web!
